I met Selena, aka “Pink Snow,” on September, 2001, only days after 9/11, in New York City.

Our bands were performing at the Continental rock club in the East Village. There were very few people willing to venture out during that time of uncertainty, so Selena‘s band (Erocktica) and Temptress essentially performed for each other. This allowed us to forge a friendship that would last through the years, her determination and drive was inspiration to all of us around her. It has been said that good things often come at the worst of times, and meeting Selena at that time certainly turned out to be one of the best.

Temptress is REALLY back with a vengeance, having previously announced their comeback performance at NYC’s Village Halloween Parade.

In addition to the original NYC lineup of Eddie Torres, Frank Malabe and Bob Valderrama, Temptress has added to its killer lineup announcing today NYC All-Stars MilitiA, Josette and Brucifer in addition to the previously reluctant Purple Pam.

When contacted at her secret rehearsal location Temptress commented, “Adding the best singers and musicians to the lineup will make this an event to remember for all watching us live in NYC and on TV,” as she took a quick well deserved break from the grueling rehearsal where the band is being constantly hosed down to simulate potential Frankenstorm conditions.

Knowing that Temptress is always prepared for any situation even a huge super-storm, road manager Michael MacDonald also told us, “We took delivery of custom hot pink SeaMaster USCG approved life rafts, and life preservers for the band, umbrella bearers, towel boys, sound crew and the Green Brothers Management team” further stating that, “We’re adding a trailer to float just for the emergency supplies and personnel, there’s no sex, drugs and rock n roll for Mikey now is there?””

Josette (Judas Priestess, Hit Girls) has the most experience with Temptress performances, having numerous shows and tours as part of the lineup that included Greta Brinkman (Druglord) and Scott Frassetto (Twelve Twenty).

Manager Skyler Green said, “Josette is a total shredder, with smoking hot leads, we can’t wait to hear the twin leads with her and Bob Valderrama.  ”Plus,” he added, “she has the most experience at keeping Temptress calm during her pre-show superstitions and rituals.”

When asked about the upcoming event Josette replied with, “I was looking forward to this until they started hosing us down at rehearsal, plus what is this place, a refrigerated meat locker?” referring to preparation for rainy conditions Wednesday night.

Brucifer (NYC Bitch All Star Band), also has performed at several Temptress shows in US and Canada, is a great guitarist, musical director, and pro-sound engineer, but he also has good nautical and boat rowing skills.

Brucifer was the musical director for the famous “Bitch” night at Don Hills which featured NYC’s best female singers’ tribute to metal and hard rock. When not on stage dazzling audiences with his six string skills, Brucifer can be found working as a pro-audio engineer being the mixing board for touring rock bands and at NYC rock clubs.

Brucifer was interviewed at the New Rochelle Rowing Clubs’ training facility yelled from his rowboat, “My arms are killing me, when do I get to go play guitar, I don’t know what’s worse rowing this lifeboat or being super soaked in the freezer she calls a rehearsal space,” with an agonizing look on his tortured face.

MilitiA. is a solo artist (MilitiA), as well as lead singer, songwriter, founder and matriarch of edgy, original hard rock band (+Swear On Your Life+) and front woman of the all-girl heavy metal sensation, (Judas Priestess) — The All Girl Tribute to the Metal Gods, Judas Priest.

This rock/metal music maven is also known for VJing, hosting shows and making guest appearances on FUSE, Much Music USA, MTV2 and VH1 on shows such as- Heavy Metal Makeover, Soundtrack For Your Life, Tastemaker, All Things Rock, iMix and A Night With… MilitiA has also hosted several webisodes for CB Mania- interviewing the biggest names in comics and anime.

Temptress seemed absolutely thrilled to add MilitiA to the NYC lineup proclaimed “The additions of MilitiA and Purple Pam to the Temptress cast of great musicians is huge, bring together the best female singers in NYC, united for rock n roll.”

A pleasantly surprised Frank Malabe told us “Despite her eccentricities and unconventional methods, Temptress always manages to pull together the music community, and sometimes checks her ego at the door” as he is called back in to the refrigerated rehearsal space for yet another unconventional hose down during rehearsal.

MilitiA when asked about the upcoming performance sounded excited when she commented “Damn, it’s freezing and wet in this godforsaken dump, Josette what the hell did you get me in to?”

What is Temptress really all about? Don’t ask us, we’re not doctors. What can we say about someone that’s in and out of institutions? Temptress is the founding member and could not come up with a unique stage name so now we have to explain the difference between Temptress “the band” and Temptress “the celebrity”, did Alice Cooper have it this tough?

Besides being well medicated, Temptress was also voted “Best Pill Swallower” and “Most Likely to Scare Small Children and Animals” on her release from the Bellevue Hospital for the Insane. We found Temptress to be quite harmless and lovable, as long she is “Sharing the Luvvv” with audiences and commanding the stage world-wide.

Lead Guitar. Bob is brand new to Temptress so we'll go easy on him, his first Temptress gig is right around the corner, so check back in a few weeks I'm sure we'll have plenty to say.

Frank Malabe

Bass, Vocals. Frank is more of a punk rocker than he looks, always listening to NOFX, MXPX and probably the biggest Ramones' fan out there.

Ed Torres - Drums

Drums. Known in most circles at ET the Extra Testicle, we haven't dared to look and see if there really is three.

In addition to vocalist/guitarist “Temptress”, the touring band features dual guitarists Bob Valderrama and Vince Edwards, bassist Frank Malabe and drummer Ed Torres. The Nasty Habits

Sometimes fishnet stockings, high heels, and stuffed bras are just not enough. (as if!) Occasionally, the 'boys' in TEMPTRESS like to pull out the big guns. (no not those! Their stockings are too tight!)

Many believed Temptress and President Obama were close friends, evidenced by Temptress play lists on his iPhone, often watching special ‘Presidential Previews’ of the latest Temptress videos before cabinet meetings and the sultry singer often visiting with the President and the First Lady at the White House.

The Obamas were anticipating a Temptress endorsement in time for the general election, but are now worried that the regal redhead has gone Blue.

Temptress escorted Mitt Romney to a recent Susan G Komen fund raiser in a revealing hot pink ‘breast awareness’ gown as his wife Ann was across town at a high school bake sale.

It seems that Romney-Ryan campaign has lobbied the Temptress endorsement with gifts of designer clothes, private jets and personal services.

During his speech Mitt Romney floored the audience by introducing the voluptuous vocalist as “representing family values and entertainment world-wide” and “is as wholesome as apple pie”

One political analyst asked “What family? …The Manson family or the Partridge family?”

Conspiracy theorist believe that Temptress is playing both side of the campaign but is really a spy for the President’s campaign, it was reported that the sexy singer signed into the White House visitors log the day after her night on the town with Romney.

While it seems believable that they both have the same sense of style, “low cut cleavage bearing top and tight micro mini bouncing booty skirts, Kim Kardashian has a much bigger ass and smaller boobs” quoted a salesman from the Fredericks of Hollywood catalog, “so I think the same size story was fabricated”.

The feud had been well-publicized via international media sources, who said. “When Temptress and Kim are in the same room the tension is so great you can feel it in the air.”

The pair often air out their arguments publicly via press releases but recently have begun attacking each other of Facebook and Twitter. Our source tells us that Kim Kardashian decided to extend the olive branch when Temptress was invited to A-List parties and she was relegated to the C-List so as to avoid an inevitable cat fight.

A Hollywood insider was blown away by the story claiming, “If those two are best friends, we should give them Best Actress Awards at both the Emmy and Academy Awards!” claiming that the feud had been going on ever since Temptress burst onto the scene.

We decided to go right to the source and asked if the feud was ongoing. Temptress answered with “What feud? I’ve always loved Kourtney” sarcastically avoiding the question with a smirk that leaves everyone guessing.”
